Customer's Fault Description
The remote only works intermittently. If you move the battery around, you can get it to work for a few moments and then it loses connection. I assume there is a loose connection somewhere. Thank you for your help.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This ELO239 Fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have an intermittent battery cable, a replacement cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
