Section marked Amplifier only (I don’t use the rest). The input buttons labelled 1 to 4 work most of the time, the mute button is fine, but the volume up/down buttons are very intermittent and seem to require excessively hard pressing to get a response from the amplifier volume control. Seems to be a common problem with Musical Fidelity remotes! Thank you
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Audio preamplifier, model X-PreV3 remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some non responsive / sluggish buttons.

This was due to worn contacts, replacement conductive pads were fitted which restored full functionality.
