Customer's Fault Description
The remote for my sound base has stopped working. Tried replacing the battery but that hasn't resolved the issue.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Canton remote arrived safely and on testing the power button was non responsive. All other buttons were found to be functioning as normal.
On opening the power button was found to have started to decompose (see image). The pads and PCB were cleared of all contaminants and replacement button caps fitted under all buttons. This restored full functionality.
