Hi. I found your site when searching unsuccessfully for a replacement remote. Just wondering how much it would be for a similar job. The fire has new batteries and is charged but it still won't start. Only one button makes the remote light up so I'm wondering if the remote is the issue. Hoping to avoid having to fit a new fire at the moment so just messaging for a quote at moment. Thank you.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a broken retaining clip on the battery cover and one side of the remote was warped from heat exposure, the case and battery cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available and don't effect functionality.
On testing the buttons were found to be non responsive / sluggish. All four buttons were replaced and also the battery cable was replaced as a precaution. This restored full functionality.
