Customer's Fault Description
The remote fell on the ground. Since that moment it doesn't work anymore, completely dead. New pair of batteries didn't help.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to the usual issue whereby a SMD diode breaks away from the PCB.  This was replace which restored full functionality.
