Spring on battery terminal is broken
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Celsi remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have badly damaged battery terminals due to a battery leak.

The terminals were reworked and when tested one of the pins of the main IC started to smoke.  This was found to be due to battery acid that was coating the pins of the IC, this was all cleaned up using alcohol which then restored normal functionality.
