Customer's Fault Description
no buttons seem to work. cannot see any beam when viewed thru smartphone camera.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was found to be due to 2 issues, the first was a faulty capacitor, this was replaced which restored functionality to some of the buttons.
It was then found that the button array / print had started to decompose, the print was repainted which restored full functionality.
