Customer's Fault Description
Light button takes ages to function - have to keep finger on it for ages!
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This light console controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish button response. This was foudn to be due to worn contacts. Replacement button caps were fitted which restored full functionality. The battery cable was also replaced due to it having a tear in its plastic covering.
The PCB was also found to be held in place with BLU tac, this was removed and the board hot melt glued into place.
