JVC Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : JVC
Customers Fault Description : on/off button works intermittently
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This JVC remote arrived safely and on testing the power and volume buttons were non responsive.
On opening there was a large amount of contamination over much of the button array (see image).
The PCB and button array was cleared of all contaminants which restored partial functionality but the power button was very sluggish. A Replacement conductive button cap was fitted which restored full functionality.
This is part of a 2 remote repair. The payment on this page is for this repair only plus the overall postage. Details of the second job will be sent in a separate message.
