No power, no functionality.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote shell arrived safely, there is no circuit inside meaning that someone has had the control open and taken the board out prior to it arriving with us. Inside the battery compartment there are two of the case screws pressed into Blu Tack. The IR cover was also missing (this cannot be replaced as they are not available as spares)
After talking to the customer the PCB was found and sent on to us, the issue was then found to be due to a broken / missing battery terminal. This is a common issue and is remedied by replacing the terminals with a battery cab / clip. This was done this restored full functionality.
