Remote Fixer Repair Response

1 - Not responding from its power button press.  Worn contacts on the buttons were found, replacement conductive button caps were fitted.  Full functionality was restored

2 - Signal tested and found to be transmitting on each button at the correct frequency - No fault found.

3 - Fault description does not match the  stated fault.  One of the battery terminals is not actuating onto the battery meaning its dead unless the battery is forced into position.  When powered up the control was found to have its signal as per normal.  This has been classed as no fault found and is non chargeable.

4 - Signal tested and found to be transmitting on each button at the correct frequency - No fault found.

5 - Item was found not to transmit a signal. A component test was carried out but sadly a cause could not be pinpointed.  It is thought that one of the main ICs is at fault.  This item has been classed as beyond repair. 

6 - Not responding from its power button press.  Worn contacts on the buttons were found, replacement conductive button caps were fitted.  Full functionality was restored

7 - Signal tested and found to be transmitting on each button at the correct frequency - No fault found. 

8 - Signal tested and found to be transmitting on each button at the correct frequency - No fault found.  

9 - Slide switch cover missing (this was replaced), battery cover missing (a spare was found and supplied).  The negating battery terminal was missing, broken away from the PCB.  Replacement battery terminal was fitted which restored full functionality.

10 - Slide switch cover missing (this was replaced), battery cover missing (a spare was found and supplied).  The case was apart and the PCB mounting pins were broken, the PCB was glued back into position.  The battery terminals were re-plated due to signs of corrosion. Full functionality was restored.

11 - Battery Cover missing and battery cable broken, battery cable replaced which restored full functionality. (the battery cover cannot be replaced as they are not available as spares)
