This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal operation
The control was opened to check for defects but no fault could be replicated.
It was therefore concluded that the issue is either with the receiver or the mode switch in the battery compartment needs switching (the little red switch in the battery compartment that changes the mode from A to B)
