This Extractor Fan controller arrived safely from Italy and on adding a battery was found to be transmitting on every button press as per normal operation.  The control was opened to check for defects but no faulty could be replicated.  This has classed this item as no fault found.

A Duracell CR2025 battery has been fitted on return to eliminant a bad battery / incorrect battery installation issue.
