Red on off light stays on constantly and remote doesn't turn off.

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be permanently on without any button press.
When the PCB was removed there was a large mass of contamination over much of the PCB (see image). This was cleared up and then some corrosion posts were found. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
