Remote non functional after battery change (have 4 TVs the same, this remote doesn't work on any TV)

This TV controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on every button press.  The control was tested randomly over a 3 day period but no fault could be replicated.

A Duracell CR2032 has been supplied fitted on return to eliminate the possibility of a bad battery / incorrect battery.
