Hi, I’ve a Nu-Flame Mertik Maxitrol remote that’s not working. Think it’s to do with the earth lead solder breaking from the circuit board.

Remote Fixer Repair Response
This controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
The aerial wire was found to be detached and coiled up in the battery compartment. The battery cable was also found to be faulty this was replaced and the aerial refitted but the remote remained dead. The 7133 regulator was replaced which restored full functionality.
