Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery holder was missing its fastening pins, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
The facia was damaged and missing a couple of its button caps. The Facia was peeled back and replacement button caps fitted under the original (original facias are not available as spares meaning they cannot be replaced). Full functionality was restored.
Please note that this item is not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
The inserted battery was found to be dead as it was fitted incorrectly, shorting the terminals. A replacement Duracell cr2032 was provided fitted on return.
