The screen only work occasionally but the worst thing is that I put a new set of batteries in and they lose power within a few days
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Keyton remote arrived safely and on testing was found to power up but the screen was not showing anything.

On opening, the screen was found to have missaligned pins and broken connectors.  The pins were realigned which restored partial screen functionality but the only way to fully repair it would be to replaced the display, sadly these are not available as spares.

The power drain issue was not found but one of the battery terminals had signs of a battery leak / corrosion which could cause a power resistance, the terminal was cleaned up.

It is possible that the shorted display pins could have been draining the power but this is not conclusive.

This item has been classed as beyond repair.  It does still function in part and a RF signal is present but as we could not get the display working there is no charge except the return postage.
