For no explainable reason it will not power on, even thou I have put a new battery in.

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to power on from its double power button press.
This is a common issue caused by worn conductive contacts on the buttons. Replacement conductive button caps were glues into place which restored full functionality.
