Customer's Fault Description
The battery compartment is loose in the receiver and the batteries don't seem to fit in as they should. Also, it won't light the fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived with its corresponding receiver on testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal.
The receiver battery block had signs of a battery leak, this was limiting power to the PCB. The battery block was replaced which restored full functionality.
PLEASE NOTE - the battery blocks in these receivers are loose and will move round, this is normal and not a fault. Therefore the replacement battery block will still be "loose".
