Customer's Fault Description
Remote in 2 main pieces, front and back. They have not been fitting together tightly for a wee while. Buttons have fallen out of top therefore unable to push correct buttons on circuit board. Buttons are present separately
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection the buttons were detached and the back was loose.

On disassembly part of the back housing was found to be broken off and the mounting screw was also missing.  A replacement back of the control was fitted and screwed into place after re attaching the buttons.  This restored normal functionality.
