Customer's Fault Description
Lost pairing even though lights come on when pressed. Does not go through reset procedure all 5 lights do not illuminate together.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This extractor fan controller arrived safely and on inspection the PCB was loose inside the case, this is a common issue that causes the buttons not to function dependant on where the PCB is when pressed.
The control was opened and the PCB hot glued firmly into place. The signal was tested and found to be correct frequency and strength. This test was repeated over a 3 day period in case of an intermittent issue.
Curiously this remote does not enter "pairing" mode but after talking to the customer this does not appear to be an issue as the remote does talk with the receiver.
A 12v battery has also been supplied fitted on return.
