Customer's Fault Description
See you have fixed one of these! 4 button remote, standby button non responsive(held together with sellotape like the one on your site). Also, wire has become detached from battery cap but does still function
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection was missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
The battery lead was broken, this was replaced and then it was found that the buttons were also faulty. All four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
