This ceramic heater remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the Oscillator and IR Led was replaced but the control remained dead.
The culprit was then found to be the main IC which sadly is encased in black resin making replacing it impossible (see image)
Due to this a repair is sadly not possible.
This item was disposed of as per the customers telephone call, 6th June 2021
