Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two shower remotes arrived safely and on testing the larger remote was found to be dead.
On opening there was some corrosion near the negative terminal causing an open circuit, this was reworked which restored power but the control would cycle on and off with a malfunctioning display. Sadly this is not repairable as it seems that the corrosion has caused further issues. These controls do appear occasionally on ebay for sale.
The smaller remote was found to be transmitting on each button press which has classed this item as no fault found.
