Customer's Fault Description
I have 2 (maybe 3 if I can find the other one) waterproof/splashproof remote Controls. I have replaced the batteries etc several times but they have stopped working.They are 10 years old now
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two TV controllers arrived safely and on inspection both had decomposed power buttons (see images).
This decomposition had started to short the contacts of the power contacts. The facia was peeled back and the PCB cleaned up, then replacement button caps were fitted under the original facia. This restored full functionality to both controls.
Replacement Duracell batteries have been supplied fitted on return.
