Customer's Fault Description
Broken wires between battery compartment and main circuit board. Missing battery contacts. Other issues cause by attempted repairs. In general, remote is not working.

Also, a button is chipped. If that can be fixed that's great, but no requirement to. We don't use that button at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection 2 buttons were found to be "chipped" the top left and the bottom right buttons.
The battery housing was also found to be missing some terminals and unsoldered.
The battery terminals were replaced (we had to custom make some) and resoldered.
A replacement conductive cap was also fitted as one of the button PCB pads was badly deteriorated. Full functionality was restored to all buttons.
The physical buttons that were ripped cannot be replaced as spare button arrays are not available as spares but this does not effect functionality as the button signals still function.
