Customer's Fault Description
REMOTE CONTROL JUST FLASHES , IT WAS DROPPED ONTO CARPET
AND HAS FAILED SINCE .
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to just flash every few seconds.
On opening, one of the battery terminals had signs of a battery leak (see image). The print and terminal was cleared of contaminants and the terminal re-plated. The control was then factory reset and full functionality was restored. Please note that the customer will be required to pair the remote with the receiver as per normal operation.
