Customer's Fault Description
Remote for 20 year old door. Door Model No GDO-4 and Serial No 11033.
If press single button, red light not illuminate or door open.
Battery checked and ok. Electrician removed circuit from housing, checked button but still not work.
Noticed, button is cracked, please also replace this if possible.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to the electronic button itself being open circuit. A replacement button was fitted which restored full functionality.
Please note that the large plastic button facia cannot be replaced as they are not available as spares and does not effect functionality.
A clone was also supplied.
