Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Wurlitzer remote arrived safely from Spain and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening there was a mass of corrosion over most of the PCB from a battery leak (see image). Sadly this corrosion had eaten through both layers of the button array. Due to this a repair is not possible.
We did however manage to record the code from the remote and make a clone. This looks totally different but will do the same functions of the original (see image below for a representation of this remote next to the original showing which button does which function)
A clone was supplied to the customer.
