Customer's Fault Description
Receiver battery pack badly corroded. Remote is ok. I’m sending the remote for you to check once the receiver is repaired or not.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire remote and receiver arrived safely. On testing the remote was confirmed to be functioning as per normal but the receiver was dead.
The batter block in the receiver was badly corroded due to a battery leak. When opened there was also a mass of crystalized contaminant over the PCB (see image). The PCB was cleared of contaminants and the battery block replaced which restored full functionality.
