Customer's Fault Description
Remote no longer opens and closes door after going through the wash.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have the bottom 2 buttons being inoperable.
When opened the issue was found to be due to a large amount of contamination / corrosion over the button array (see image)
The button array was reworked and also the battery housing cleaned up which restored full functionality.
A replacement set of Duracell cr2016 batteries were supplied fitted on return. The included batteries had started to rust!
