Velux Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Velux

Customers Fault Description : Have checked sensors etc on the windows and are all working fine. Reset button on remote doesn’t seem to be working and doesn’t open the windows.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Velux remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting but the reset button was confirmed to have no response.

When opened the reset button had inverted due to excessive force being applied (See image).  A replacement reset button was fitted and when tested again would then bring up the reset functionality after holding it in for around 10 - 15 seconds.

Please note that force is not meant to be use and also remember not to use a sharp pointed item to press the reset button or further damage would occur.
