With new batteries in there is no light showing Truma tested it nd said there was a fault (not much help )
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

When removing the batteries that were fitted the reason for the dead issue became clear.  One of the battery terminals had impacted into the body of the remote itself meaning no power could get to the PCB.  The terminal was extracted and refitted into position.
