One of the buttons is inop. It's the back and left button.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing it was found that the bottom right button was non functioning (not the bottom left as described).
Usually this issue is cause by corrosion spots but the inside of this control is immaculate (as if brand new). After a lengthy continuity check a tiny microcrack was found in the print causing an open circuit. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
