Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found not to transmit on any button.
When opened there was a very large mass of sticky liquid contamination over the entire PCB and button array (See image). This had started to corrode through the print.
An attempt was made to clean up the PCB and buttons but sadly this did not rectify the fault. Due to the amount of damage and random corrosion points in the double layered print a repair is not possible.
THIS ITEM WAS SCRAPPED AS PER OUR TERMS 29TH SEPT 21
A google search was carried out and a replacement original remote was found available for sale - here!
