Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On inspection there were various corrosion spots over the PCB (see image) and also 2 of the buttons were open circuit.
The buttons were replaced and the print reworked which restored functionality but then it was found that even though it powered up it had no RF signal. This was down to the RF module which sadly is not available as a spare making a repair not possible.
THIS ITEM WAS SCRAPPED AS PER OUR TERMS 29TH SEPT 21
A google search was carried out and a possible replacement remote was found here (please check with the seller)
