Customer's Fault Description
Screen faded, intermittent power despite new batteries
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This electric radiator controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have an extremely dim display that made reading it impossible.
A component test was carried out and there was a smd resistor which was open circuit, this was replaced which restored partial functionality. Sadly a repair could not be completed due to lack of full schematics.
The remote does now switch on with a longer power button press and the screen is full strength but as i am not 100% happy with the repair it is non chargeable. Just the return postage is required.
