Customer's Fault Description
The batteries leaked in the remote control, not sure how long a period of time they were in the remote for. All buttons do not work at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Dimplex remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening it was confirmed that a battery leak had occurred, this had eaten through the connecting wires. The battery block was re soldered to the PCB and full functionality was restored.
