Customer's Fault Description
Volum button not working and the on screen display buttons not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the case fixing screws were broken and the battery cover was held on with tape.
The case had many cracks around it. This was causing the Display to not be connected properly to the PCB.
The volume buttons were confirmed not to be functioning. This was due to worn contacts. Replacement button contacts were fitted which restored functionality.
Padding was fitted to create a firm display connection and then the case was glued together. The case cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
