Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Adjustamatic remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have a badly damaged cable. An attempt was carried out to cut back the cable by a couple of inches to bypass the breaks but it was found that the internal insulation had putrefied meaning the cable was non repairable.
The cable was replaced entirely with a straight cable (curly ones are not available to us)
The remote was returned UGTEE with an issue of intermittent functions. The cable was retested with not issues being present. All button contacts were cleaned up to remote any contaminants and a complete inspections of the PCB was carried out with not further issues being found. Returned 18th June 21
