Remote not working despite changing battery
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the IC was found to be breaking away from the PCB on a few of its legs, most likely due to flexing over the years.
The IC was soldered firmly back into position which restored full functionality.
A Duracell CR2025 battery has been supplied fitted on return.
