The remote won't open garage door.light on remote sometimes works.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
The LED print was found to be broken this was reworked but the signal was not present. It was then found out that the oscillator had a broken leg. The value of this oscillator was unusual meaning a new replacement couldn't be fitted. The leg of the oscillator was resoldered back in place and then hot melt glue used to give it some strength against future breaks.
The battery cable was also replaced. Full functionality was restored.
