Melting Battery terminals

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the case was split apart and one of the buttons was missing (the buttons cannot be replaced)
The issue was that the battery terminals were shorting when a battery was inserted. Insulation was fitted on the terminals and also hot melt glue used as a barrier to allow an inserted battery to seat properly.
Full functionality was restored.
