Badly damaged cable .To be replaced please.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and its extension cable arrived safely and on inspection both the extension and remote cable were badly damaged.
On opening there was also a large amount of contamination over the PCB (see image), this was cleaned up and all buttons replaced and then a straight 3 meter cable was fitted which should eliminate the need for the extension.
If the cable is too long simply curl the wire into loops and use the provided cable tie to hold in place. Do not bend the wire or crimp if tightly.
