Remote will not turn the glow or heat in using the remote buttons are also worn
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection the facia was worn, this cannot be replaced as cosmetic parts are not available as spares and do not effect functionality.
On testing the remote was found to be dead. This was found to be due to 2 issues, the first was the oscillator was found to be faulty, a replacement was fitted which restored partial functionality.
It was then found that one of the buttons was faulty. A replacement button was fitted which restored full functionality (see testing video)
