Battery wire came away from the solder. Resolded them back and the remote worked but once it cools down stops working. Checked battery and reading 9.4v.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead and the battery cable had been worked on.
The battery cable was replaced and the issue was then found to be due to corrosion on the button array ribbon cable. The cable was reworked which restored full functionality.
