Gazco Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Gazco
Customers Fault Description : Remote not working even with new batteries. No red light at top on any buttons
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have sluggish / poor button response.
This was found to be due to worn contacts on the buttons themselves, in particular on the "Send" button. As this button is required to be pressed at the same time as the other buttons to work it had the most worn contacts.
Replacement button contacts were glued into place on all buttons which restored full functionality (see testing video)
Please note that the bulb at the end of the remote is Infra Red meaning it will not be visible with the naked eye and is only visible when viewed through an electronic device.
