Customer's Fault Description
Battery connector has 1 broken wire
Remote 'ON' button stuck on, so remote comes 'live' as soon as the battery is connected.
Most of the direction buttons do not work correctly, sorry I cant be more specific, but as the one buttons are stuck on, you have to 'program' the unit everytime it comes live.
This unity did get wet a few yrs back and hasnt worked correctly since.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a faulty battery cable, the cable was replaced and then it was confirmed that the remote would turn on without a button being pressed. This was due to a short on the facia ribbon cable, the short was removed which restored full functionality.
Item returned 25th May 2022 as dead, there was further corrosion in the facia membrane, this was repaired under gtee and the remote returned the same day.
