Two buttons not working, if you you push down on the buttons you can feel that it’s not quite right,

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was in pieces and the battery cover was missing, the battery cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available..
There was signs of battery leakage corrosion and many of the buttons were non responsive.
The buttons were replaced and also the battery terminals were replaced which restored full functionality.
